About Soap & Sunday

Simple, honest guides for keeping a home clean and organized: routines you can actually stick to, cleaners you can make in a minute, and step-by-step help for the jobs everyone puts off.

What this is

Soap & Sunday answers the practical questions people search when a chore finally can’t wait: how to clean a washing machine that smells, how to get soap scum off glass, how to organize a pantry so it stays organized. Every guide starts with a short, direct answer, flags anything that could be unsafe, and then walks through the method step by step.

How guides are written

Guides are built from reliable sources: appliance and flooring manufacturers’ care instructions, government guidance on cleaning and disinfecting (such as the CDC and EPA), and university extension services. Sources are listed at the foot of every guide. Where advice differs, we say so and choose the gentler, safer method. The full process is on how we write our guides.

Who is behind it

Clara, Founder and editor. Clara writes and edits Soap & Sunday, turning manufacturer care instructions and official cleaning guidance into simple routines and step by step guides for real homes.
